Exciting Camp Vega Updates for Summer 2025!
Hello Camp Vega families!
As we prepare for another unforgettable summer, we’re thrilled to share a few updates that will make Vega (somehow) even more special!! The team has been hard at work improving the facilities and adding exciting new programs based on camper feedback, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience them. Here’s a sneak peek at what we have been up to and are planning on!
1. New Aquapark Addition: “El Jefe”
After a spirited Camper Counsel vote last summer, we’re thrilled to announce that “El Jefe” along with some other inflatable attachments will be joining our Aquapark lineup! This awesome addition is packed with fun and challenges, and we know the girls are going to love it. “El Jefe” will add to the thrills of the Aquapark and give campers a chance to have greater adventures with new slides, climbs, and balancing zones. The Counsel’s choice was spot-on, and we’re looking forward to seeing the smiles and cheers on the lake this summer!
2. Major Repairs for Tamary
Our beloved Tamary, home to our oldest campers and named after the previous owners Matt and Mary (Matt backwards and one less “t” 🙂 ), has undergone a major facelift! After many years of creating memories, Tamary was due for some attention. With structural repairs from the joists to the entire roof as well as fresh touches, it’s more than ready to welcome the girls for another summer of adventure.
3. New Staff Cabins for Added Comfort
Staff play a huge role at camp, and we know if they’re comfortable, they’re even more ready for anything! This summer, we’re adding two new staff cabins. These new accommodations are designed to help our team the space to rest and recharge so they’re ready to bring their best energy to every activity with your campers!
4. Introducing Textiles & Fashion Design
For all the budding designers and creators out there, we’re adding an all-new Textiles Activity Program! Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy valuable skills like sewing, knitting, and even fashion design. From crafting unique projects to experimenting with textiles, our campers can explore a whole new creative avenue. This program will be a fantastic way to unwind, try something different, and discover talents they may not have known they had. We can’t wait to see the imaginative creations the girls bring to life! 2025 camp families can expect more information when we publish the Activity Selection guide, which usually comes out in January.
These updates are all about enhancing the Camp Vega experience and making each summer better than the last. We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another season of fun, growth, adventure, and connection.
