Tennis staff instruct campers of all ages in stroke development, match play, and tennis-specific skills on our beautiful courts in the center of Camp Vega in Fayette, Maine. Instructors coach daily activity sessions, ensure safety, foster enthusiasm for the sport, and help maintain equipment and court spaces.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coach tennis fundamentals including strokes, footwork, strategy, and match play
- Provide individualized instruction, feedback, and encouragement to campers
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and fellow staff at all times
Requirements:
- Playing or played at the collegiate level
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for teaching tennis to all ages, especially children
