As the sun sets over Echo Lake, the entire Vega community gathers at Sunset Circle once a week. It’s a beloved tradition that captures the heart of camp. Sitting together beneath majestic pines, campers and counselors sing favorite camp songs, reflect on the week, and celebrate one another in true Vega spirit. It’s a moment of connection, gratitude, and joy that reminds everyone how special it is to be part of the multigenerational Vega family.
For many, Sunset Circle is the most cherished time of the week as it give us a chance to slow down, look around at friends old and new, and feel the magic of Vega that lasts long after the summer ends.
Hear first hand what former Vega campers, who were counselors in 2025, had to say when asked the question, What does Sunset Circle mean to you?
